Stockholm-based alternative rock band Birthday Girl share their new single “I Came Here To Eat.” Yesterday, The 405 exclusively premiered the track, praising, “But on the band’s new single ‘I Came Here To Eat,’ that noise is infused with a little groove and a healthy dollop of passion, resulting in one of the band’s most rewarding singles to date.”
The new single “I Came Here To Eat” is out today on all digital streaming platforms via the band’s own Sweet Cream Records. Staying true to the noisy and aggressive nature of their debut release, with a slower tempo and groove, Fran wrote the song about the feeling of “wanting to completely devour someone to the point of cannibalism”. It was recorded in their rehearsal studio in Stockholm, with UK engineer Lee Turner and Swedish Producer Björn Stålhammar.
