DJ Mustard, G-Eazy, Tyga, and more Light Up Power 106’s Liftoff Concert

Power 106 presents Liftoff Concert in Irvine, California on May 19, 2019 at the famous Five Points Amphitheater. Liftoff pulled out all the stops Saturday with a stacked lineup and unforgettable performances which included surprise guests. On the lineup which included but was not limited to: T-Pain, French Montana, Tyga, and G-Eazy who ultimately set the stage for headliner DJ Mustard and special guests.

The most memorable moments of the night included a heartwarming tribute to late Nipsey Hussle. Thousands of lights were held high in the sky as artist and concert goers honored Nipsey. The 15-minute tribute included an emotional slideshow of Nipsey’s past performances and interviews that displayed unforgotten moments of his uplifting messages and unwavering spirit. Just as the tribute to Nipsey comes to an end, sprinkles of rain began to gently fall from the sky at the amphitheater.

Following the memorial slideshow, DJ Mustard continued to honor Nipsey within his own set and delivered an action-packed and star-studded conclusion to the show. Although it was he who was the star, DJ Mustard’s thunder may have been stolen by his son. Dressed to impress as his mini-me, DJ Mustard’s son captured the hearts of the crowd with his adorable dance moves and obvious love and admiration for his dad. With the help of his son, DJ Mustard announces his new album title, ‘Perfect 10.” Dom Kennedy, Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign, and YG delivered surprise performances before the night came to an end.
