John Dean Founder of Renowned LA Clothing Line Talks International Success and New “Shadows” Collection

From the poem that accompanies the new “Shadows” Collection, it is clear that L.A.-based Renowned is more than just another Streetwear Brand.

Renowned LA continually embodies a unique perspective on the American Dream and the idea of success in America. To see the light, one cannot exist without having to also see the dark. “SHADOWS” is a darker commentary than the previous “PARADISE” collection.

The lookbook features Geron Mckinley, one of the top 50 models in the world. Notable Retailers: LuisaViaRoma, Vfiles, Galleria Department Store, DOPE, HANKYU (Tokyo)

“Whether they be social, environmental, political, or internal, there will be obstacles that block your path to success. ‘Shadows’ is about confronting those obstacles, finding the inner strength to overcome them, and shining brighter on the other side.”

We caught up with line owner John Dean to discuss the mission of the collection and what it feels like to break out on the international playing field!
