Niagara Falls, NY Emcee, Jamal Gasol Drops ‘No Joy Without Pain 3’ project

Over the past few years, Niagara Falls, NY emcee, Jamal Gasol has been shining a light on the heretofore unknown dark underbelly of the “Dirty Waters.” Appearing on tracks with Benny The Butcher (GXFR), Eto, Estee Nack and Rome Streetz he can certainly hold his own and then some on that street spit.

However on tracks like the newest single“Po’ Out Some Liquor” (Prod by Kil) he proves that he is equally adept at introspective, deep thinking rap.

“Po’ Out Some Liquor” is off the newly released No Joy Without Pain 3 project which is fully produced by Kil (who produced the majority of the first two installments) and Quis Star (who previously produced The Larry Davis Era project for Gasol).

Speaking on the No Joy Without Pain series, Gasol said “Right at the end of recording the first installment I still had a hand in the streets and caught a serious case. At the time I remember wanting to quit music but Kil and Quis Star were a few of the people who encouraged me to pursue music full force. It has been a challenge for me to give up those ways but I’m self-made so I apply the same hustler mentality to my music that I did to the streets. This project is actually dropping on the date when I’m officially off probation and will be the last of the series so everything came full circle.”
