Vancouver’s Kresnt Kicks Off Ramadam With New Album And Nomination

Vancouver rapper Kresnt got to kick off this years Ramadan with the release of his 9-song project, “Rumi’s Reflection”, which sits at #2 on the Canadian iTunes chart, and #1 on Turkey’s iTunes chart.

Add to that the nomination for Afghan Artist of the Year by the Diamond Awards which take place in Vienna on June 8th and Kresnt hits the half-year mark in good form.

Exec produced by Nani Beats, Kamal Dabir and Kresnt himself, “Rumi’s Reflection” is an ode to the 13th Century poet and scholar. The album oozes authenticity right down to the amazing artwork designed by Pakistani artist and immigration advocate, Hafsa Khan aka @hafandhaf .

Kresnt says of this latest release, Its a body of work. It’s a moment where I stop and reflect on my life, on my relationships, friendships, and overall the person I am today.”

Next up for Kresnt is a new visual to the Ken Lewis-produced, “Remember Way Back”, and another for his Boslen collab, “Agent Banks.”
