Alternative R&B Singer Jada Michael Releases The Perfect ‘Summer Video’ “Coolin’ It”

Alternative R&B recording artist, Jada Michael today releases the perfect ‘summer video’, the chill and vibey “Coolin’ It”.  The song premiered exclusively on SoulBounce last week who noted, “Cool out to Jada Michael’s ‘Coolin’ It’, and don’t be surprised if it leads you to get nostalgic about your own good old days.”

“Coolin’ It” is a chilled out track about being with the people you love and being present in the moment.  The Miami based artist is shown with a love interest in the video exploring the beach and hanging out. The song kicks off with a soft synth and ocean sounds mixed with birds chirping, leading beautifully into Jada’s smooth and sexy vocals.

Jada says, “I wrote ‘Coolin’ it’ when I was 16 but it had always been an important song to me. It is an homage to my city, Miami, Fl and my youth in general. I didn’t know it then, but it was a much more simple time in my life. I remember that feeling every time I hear the track. Hope it does the same for you!”

“Coolin It”  is the follow up to her highly successful single, “Breathe” which has over 179,000 streams on Spotify with over 1,000,000 views on YouTube after being featured on  and is the lead into her next song, the edgy, “FREAK” which will be released in September along with an as yet untitled EP.

Jada has been making waves in the music community of late appearing at the legendary NYC club SOB’s twice this past spring and performing for a private audience at the offices of iHeart radio.

The LGBTQIA+ artist has set her sights on a multi-pronged career as a singer/songwriter, plus-sized model, and activist. Her song ‘FREAK’ to be released in early Fall is the next step in the building blocks of pushing the ideas of self-love, self-acceptance and personal freedom through the messages in her music.
