Vitaly Fargesen On Yooforic, CBD & What’s New From CanaFarma

CanaFarma Corp. is one of the first entities to be granted a hemp cultivation and processing license by the State of New York. Although based in New York City, CanaFarma the company operates a 55-acre farm outside of the city with the intent of growing quality, organic, non-GMO pesticide-free hemp.

CanaFarma will also be one of the few licensed hemp-related processors on the East Coast of the United States with access to all of the following notable resources:

· An exclusive farm for hemp cultivation
· A processing facility
· A research staff
· A marketing team
· An Information and marketplace portal

I had the pleasure of interviewing Vitaly Fargesen — Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning at CanaFarma Corp. — about CanaFarma and what is coming up for the growing company. More on CanaFarma can be found online by visiting its official website at www.canafarmacorp.com.

CanaFarma is one of the first entities to be granted a hemp cultivation and processing license by the State of New York. How long was the company in the works for before launching?

Vitaly Fargesen: The company formed at the end of last year — 2018 — to fully integrate farm to table strategy.

What is a typical day for you like work-wise? Are you literally in the fields a lot of the day?

Vitaly Fargesen: My day typical day starts with getting updates from our chemists, followed by getting marketing research results. I then usually follow-up with the grow team.

Do you have a favorite item from the current collection?

Vitaly Fargesen: My favorite item from our collection is probably Yooforic. It’s a hemp-infused chewing gum. We are one of the only companies that currently market products with real science behind them.

I understand that you have a CBD gum launching next month. Can you tell me more about that?

Vitaly Fargesen: Yooforic is supported by several patents for the delivery of hemp via the oral mucosa or the mucous membranes lining the inside of the mouth. This is an extremely unique and highly-advanced method to deliver hemp and provides for one of the highest levels of absorption and bioavailability of the actives into the bloodstream.

CBD gum aside, what is coming up for the brand?

Vitaly Fargesen: We are working on a few products that we will be launching in 2020. One of which is a center filled gum, another one is a capsule with tremendous bioavailability of hemp seed oil.

When not busy with CanaFarma, how do you like to spend your free time?

Vitaly Fargesen: These days CanaFarma is taking much of my time. In the next few months our first grow will be completed, we will be launching at least 4 products, and should be listed on the CSE in Canada. When I can get away, I try to spend time with my family. It’s a very exciting time for all of us. Hopefully in the near-future I’ll be able to relax, but for now it’s an all-out blitz!

Finally, what was the last concert you attended for fun?

Vitaly Fargesen: I attended Lady Gaga’s concert.
