Chucc WhYte – Crabs In A Bucket

Earlier this month, Maryland rapper Chucc WhYte released the video for his song, “Crabs in a Bucket.” The Seven Beatz produced track is available to stream and download on all major platforms.

The video paints a relatable image of big dreamers wanting more despite the roadblocks in life that make those dreams seem impossible. For WhYte, one of those roadblocks was college. “I was so caught up with my lifestyle, which at the end didn’t help me graduate, so I made this song as a sort of therapy to express how I sabotaged my education and how doing the wrong thing never yields the right results,” he shared.

Chucc WhYte is a self-proclaimed “Thug N Soul” artist. He delivers a rarely exposed perspective of living in the USA as an immigrant in this current political climate. Produced by Emmanuel Porquin, Darien Henson, Tyler Henson and Justin Williams, this gritty narrative goes a little deeper into the story of an African fleeing his country in search of the “golden fleece”.
