Darnell Williams and Casino – Buckhead

Following the release of his single “TURBO,” Detroit-bred rapper Darnell Williams drops his latest record “Buckhead” featuring ATL Rapper Casino, known as CEO of his brother Future’s Record Label Freebandz. The lyrically talented rappers teamed up and decided to hijack Summer 2019 with the new single armed with potent deliveries and a venomous aggressive flow.

“Buckhead” was inspired by Darnells’ love for the city of Atlanta where he first met Casino at a houseparty he threw in Buckhead, Atlanta while in town working on his forthcoming summer EP. Shortly after meeting, the duo setup a makeshift studio at the house and recorded “Buckhead” that same night during the party.

From the West 7 Mile section of Detroit, Darnell Williams has been possessed by drive his whole life. Raised by a single mother, he learned early on that if he wanted something, he had to make it happen himself. It is that mentality that had him sleeping on friends’ couches and living out of his car as he chased his dreams through Chicago, New York, Hollywood, and South Central.

Co-managed by Roc Nation and signed to 12 Tone Music, Darnell started off 2019 strong with his single “F*CK HOLLYWOOD”, unmasking the fake veneers that he has witnessed on his journey. Accumulating over a million views for his Skrillex-backed, JOYRIDE-assisted “New Breed” visual, and doubling that in streams alone, the rapper is undoubtedly making himself a household name.

After nearly a decade of patience and persistence, and with co-signs from Travis Scott and Chance The Rapper, Darnell Williams’ uphill climb is shifting.
