EL. Train Releases Debut Album ‘Puzzles’

Bright,  emerging UK producer, El. Train drops his long awaited debut album ‘Puzzles’ today, following his Soho Radio residency launch earlier this week.

Blending soft electro with R&B and hip-hop, 13-track album, ‘Puzzles’ showcases the Brighton bred producer’s crossover appeal, featuring a wealth of exciting collaborations with vocalists including UK MC’s Lord Apex and Cold Callers plus Miki Rose, Javeon, Cheree, Dirty Radio, Kudu Blue and Hezen

Three years in the making, the album follows singles ‘She’ featuring Barney Artist and Clash premiered, ‘Tell Me Where’ featuring Clem from fellow emerging Brighton based band, Kudu Blue. Long term supporter and future R&B queen, Jamz Supernova, will also be interviewing El. Train following the album release on her BBC Radio 1Xtra show next week. Track ‘Keep It Clear’ featuring Lord Apex also premiered with Trench Magazine earlier this week.

“This album is the accumulation of 3 years of working with so many great artists and making some great friends in the process. When I sat down and decided on the final track list for the album I saw it as putting together the pieces of a Puzzle, hence the name” says El. Train. “I wanted the album to showcase the different sides of my production from the slower R&B tracks all the way through to the more uptempo vibes, I hope everybody enjoys listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it!”.

With a growing collaboration list that counts some of the hottest emerging UK talent in Pip Millett, Sam Wills, Iyamah, Age of L.U.N.A., Jerome Thomas, Barney Artist, Cold Callers, Kudu Blue, Sidders and Miki Rose, El. Train has amassed over 5 million streams as well as support from tastemakers including Soulection and NTS radio, citing Kaytranada and the late J Dilla as inspiration.

Having released the bouncy, summer single ‘She’ with Barney Artist (as well as having production on his debut album) and ‘Gold’ featuring Javeon last year, Brighton born Producer and DJ Luke Nyeke aka El. Train is known for his ability to effortlessly blend together urban and electronic sounds with a heavy nod to the US West Coast beats scene. So much so his tastemaker status is respected, he started his own monthly residency on Soho Radio earlier this week.
