THE B.E.T EXPERIENCE 2019

Thursday June 20th, BET weekend officially kicked off with the a concert at the Staples Center hosted by Bryhana and Cece from Power 106, MARY J. BLIGE headlined the show with other performances by H.E.R, QUEEN NAIJA, SUMMER WALKER AND BRI STEVES. Then right down the pathway after the ending of that concert started another one at the NOVO theater hosted by Big Tigger with performances by TANK, JACQUEES, LUCKY DAYE, AR’MON AND TREY, and this was all on the same night.

Friday June 21st, fans were able to enjoy the first of two days at the Los Angeles Convention Center. With this free opportunity people were able to showcase talent at a Casting Call; exhibit gaming skills against some of their favorite celebrities at UNLCKD Gaming booth, Take a walk to the beauty bar and get your hair cut or a new hair due, there was so many meet and greets you had to set your schedule on the BET EX 19 app to keep up with all of the events going on. The night was capped off by another performance at the Staples Center with YG, MEEK MILL, A BOOGIE WIT DA HOODIE, BLUEFACE AND RODDY RICCH.

Saturday was a continuation of the day before but on steroids. There was even more fans packed inside of the Los Angeles Convention Center to see all of the rappers, singers, and media personalities play in the 3 on 3 basketball tournament, then they moved over to Genius Talks where they listened to Jemele Hill interview different fan favorites like: EARVIN MAGIC JOHNSON (SPONSORED BY DENNY’S), NZA-ARI KHEPRA, LENA WAITHE, CHAKABARS, FELIQUAN, YARA SHAHIDI, MARSAI MARTIN. There was even more Meet & Greets throughout the day with MOZZY & MONEY MAN, LAY LAY & INAYAH, REMY MA & PAPOOSE, SAWEETIE, ROTIMI & TREVOR JACKSON, JIM JONES & PEEZY, and the one event that you didnt want to miss was the Silent Skating Party which you had to RSVP via the BET EX 12 app on your phone. After a full day of festivities, fans were enthralled with final concert of the BET Experience before the BET Awards with another concert at the Staples Center by CARDI B, MIGOS, LIL YACHTY, TRIPPIE REDD, CITY GIRLS AND BINO.

Last year the BET Experience was three days but this time it was more activities packed in to a faster pace at in two days. check out this video recap of the BET Experience 2019.
