cbdMD Brokers a Deal to Become the Official CBD Sponsor of the Big 3

Earlier this year Big 3 Co-Founder Ice Cube announced a partnership with cbdMD making them the Official CBD Partner of the Big 3. This is a groundbreaking deal because they also become the first patch featured on the Big 3 jerseys.

According to the Big 3: cbdMD will have their logo on the front of all three jersey versions for all twelve BIG3 teams – thirty-six jerseys in total – to be worn by BIG3 players during all games.

In a recent interview cbdMD founder Caryn Dunayer spoke with Brandon’ Scoop B’ Robinson of  Basketball Society about their groundbreaking partnership with the Big 3.

“cbdMD is the first CBD company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: American). We recently changed our ticker symbol to YCBD, which represents the question everyone is asking about the category. We are also the first CBD company to advertise in Times Square. Plus, cbdMD created both National CBD Day and National Hemp Day.

By becoming the first CBD company to sponsor a major sports property, our Official Partnership with the BIG3 represents another historic first for the CBD category. The BIG3 was strong in their statement that CBD is a viable natural option for their players to use for both mental and physical wellbeing. We certainly share that sentiment and are excited to be able to showcase cbdMD nationwide to BIG3 players and fans alike and educate them on all the beneficial properties of CBD.”

cbdMD was founded in 2017 by Caryn Dunayer and Scott Coffman.

Before forming their company Dunayer, she spent 20 years in several different industries such as sales, marketing, advertising, and digital. After graduating with her degree, she landed a job with Hewlett Packard in IT.

In 2005, she would transition into marketing and advertisement with a New York Times affiliate, the Star-News. Dunayer would go on to create and manage client campaigns worth millions of dollars. Six years later in September of 2011, she would then join Hearst as Digital Marketing and Major Accounts Executive as she honed her skills in the SEO, SEM, Google AdWords, public relations, social media space.

In 2013, co-found American Ecig Supply and managed their entire sales force, marketing, and advertising, while focusing on new vendor acquisition.
