Craig Xen Releases Video For “Cry Baby, Cell 17”

Craig Xen just dropped his video for “Cry Baby, Cell 17” and I’m sharing to see if you’d consider supporting in any way. The track is named in remembrance of Craig’s close friends, Lil Peep and XXXTentacion, and it reflects the pain and questions that come with losing a loved one. The video is directed by JMP, who’s well known for directing videos for Denzel Curry, Playboi Carti, XXXTentacion, among others. It was filmed at Miami Beach Botanical Garden in Miami, Florida. The track has been a fan favorite from Craig’s recent project, Broken Kids Club.

Released on June 19th, 2019, Broken Kids Club, is Craig Xen’s first studio project. The 7-track EP gives a glimpse into Craig’s most private thoughts as he grapples with the passing of close friends, overcoming addiction, and finding peace. In less than a month the project has generated more than 10 million plays across streaming platforms and earned support from prominent media including XXL, Complex, Notion Magazine, HotNewHipHop and many more. In a recent letter to his fans, Craig said, “the past 2 years of my life have been spent exploring in search of my serenity… I’ve been expressing and tapping into some of the most vulnerable and uncomfortable sides of myself that I was too afraid to express before. Broken Kids Club reminds us that we’re understood and welcome somewhere free of judgement —and for most of us that’s all we’ve been looking for.” The EP features collaborations with XXXTENTACION, Smokepurpp, Ski Mask the Slump God and Flyboy Tarrantino, as well as production from Stain, DJ Patt, King Yosef, GVLLOW, Shepard Sounds, Stevie Hardy, and Craig Xen himself. Craig has also gotten a lot of recognition for his recent appearance on Gnar’s “Death Note” ft. Lil Skies & Craig Xen. The Cole Bennett-directed video has over 8 million views.
