Kai Exos Brings His Video Game To Life In ‘Back 2 The Moon’ Music Video

Toronto-native and soul singer/songwriter Kai Exos showcases his creative genius in the official video for “Back 2 The Moon”, setting the backdrop for his very own intergalactic video game with the R&B-tinged single.

When Kai Exos first wrote ‘Back 2 The Moon’, the latest single off his self-titled EP, he immediately envisioned a video game to accompany it, leaping over astroids and lava in a virtual world he would design.

I found an antique book of Egyptian weaponry and wanted to explore my African heritage and some Ma’at principles a few years ago,” Kai shares about the inspiration for the track. “The lyrics and the story stemmed out of there to create this whole immersive experience.”

The video game will be available to play on mobile and web apps soon.

The video follows the release of his self titled EP which marked a shift in his sound from neo-soul to Alt R&B. The 5-track EP includes songs “Hold Out The Light” and “Fire And Brew,” which peaked at #14 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound last year.
