Meylin Diaz “is” The OMG Girl.

Why The OMG Girl? Look at her. Any questions?

Meylin Diaz is the head-turning sexy Diva girl. She subliminally screams Diva in her dress, walk, and persona. She also screams sex appeal as she oozes with it.

But Meylin Diaz is much more than what her dazzling beauty would imply at surface level. Meylin Diaz is “deep beautiful”, deep to the core inwardly, as well as outwardly.

I was first thrown off balance when discovering she is genuine and her answers are so other-worldly, that you think she is b.s’ing you until you realize – she’s for real. Meylin Diaz has that Third World interior purity that is genuinely spiritual. When you spend any time talking to her, you realize her purity of heart is about family, about God, about pure and real.

A girl who looks like her can get all the frivolous, surface, non-important trappings of life … (“Hey, baby, I got the money, I got the mansion, I got the exotic car” … blah, blah, blah.) That is what Meylin hears … “blah, blah, blah”. … but Meylin knows the real from the counterfeit.

Real recognizes real.

Meylin Diaz is real.

She has done gigs with Nick Cannon’s Wild & Out Tour, and loved it. Now she is hoping filming starts sooner rather than later on The Latin Goddesses, of which she is one of the main characters on the lead cast. She is appearing at all #WE events and speaking at She-Con (the world’s largest online women’s conference) coming up in October. She is preparing to host a series of VIP After Parties sponsored by The Hype Magazine and #WE in the new 8 region network they have partnered on.

I see you were on some dates of Nick Cannon’s Wild & Out? How did that happen?

Yes, we met at a meeting … we had to work on some projects with my team. I was lucky enough to impress him with my performance and he invited me over to be part of some of his tour dates.

You are from Cuba? How long have been here in America, and how did you get here?

Yes, I’m from Cuba, I’ve been here for 5 years and came as a refugee with my family.

So, a girl like you HAS to be “taken”, right?

I am not taken. I’m really focused on my career at the moment.

What exactly are your goals? Where is the ultimate place you are trying to get in your career?

Well, I’m trying to get to the top on the entertainment industry at the same time as my real estate career.

Do you act? sing?

I do act, but don’t sing … lol

Do you get along with the other Latin Goddesses? I bet they bicker with you ALL the time?

I get along with everyone. Latin Goddesses was not the exemption.

Do you consider yourself sexy or hot?

I think I’m somewhat in between.

Tell me, what MAKES you sexy? What makes you HOT?

I think what makes me sexy is the way I present myself and think my physical complexion makes me hot.

What makes other girls who do not look like you sexy?

I think all girls are sexy in their own ways.

What makes a woman sexy to a man, in your opinion?

The way they carry themselves.

In your opinion, what makes a man sexy?

His smile.

What turns YOU on in a man?

Their personality.

If a man approaches you, what criteria do you use to decide “yes” or “no”?

I would listen to how he talks, what is his interest. If the center of the conversation is just around materialistic things, then is a “no”. If he expresses other interests, and if the conversation is not shallow, then it’s a “yes.”

Would you date a broke man? Why or why not?

Well, we first have to define broke!? There are 2 types of broke men – if the one who is currently broke has high expectations and is doing something to get out of the situation, then – Yes.

When I date, I’m not looking for what money can give me. I search for things that money cannot buy like time, moments, smiles, conversations, etc. I’m a go get it type of woman, I don’t wait for someone to put it on my hands, I work hard for it.

I see you are called “The Latin Goddess”. What IS a “Latin Goddess”?

The Latin Goddesses are a group of women who believe in women empowerment.

How did you get to become a member of “The Latin Goddesses”?

I was invited by Lowell Beasley.

ABC-TV Called “The Latin Goddesses”, the “most hyped TV show that never was”. I know you have waited a long time and invested a few years in it. Explain your struggle, your evolution of thinking, and your reasons and thinking for hanging in so long when others have left?

Of course, the struggle is the waiting part, but I believe that once it does launch, it will all be worth it.

You told the producer you loved the cultural Diva role part in the script. What attracted you to that part? Is that you in real life? Are you like that?

Yes, of course, every woman has a Diva side to them, but I also wanted to show that even though you are a Diva, you can still be humble and empower other women.

even though you are a Diva, you can
still be humble and empower other women.

Explain the struggle you have had to go through in pursuit of your dreams.

The struggle that I have encountered is almost giving up on my dreams because of the competition in this industry that society has created, but I have learned that hard work and perseverance pays off.

Explain how your struggle to reach your dreams has affected your professional life, your family, your friends, your love life.

It hasn’t because I’m very good at balancing everything in my life.

You are now a #WE spokesmodel. Do you see yourself as a role model for Women Empowerment? Why? Or why not?

Definitely. Being a Latina, there’s a lot of stereotypes and I feel confident that I can empower other women to stand up for what they believe in.

What does women empowerment mean to you?

It means encouraging one another and not bringing each other down. I believe that if we come together, we can build an empire.

What have you learned in your struggle that was different than how you thought it would be when you first started?

Again, competition is real, but NEVER stop believing in yourself.

What is your philosophy/motto in life?

You get what you give, whether it’s good or bad.

What is your message to your haters?

I don’t have haters. I have fans.

It seems to have taken quite a while for this Latin Goddess project to take off. Why have you waited around for so long?

Because good things come for those who wait,

You have had many other offers. What is it about The Latin Goddesses that has made you stick around?

Because I believe in the potential of this project.

What is your opinion on Lowell Beasley? What is your opinion and breakdown on him?

That he’s a man with strong beliefs in God, and I love that he believes in all of us and pushes us to always be better.

I believe everybody has a purpose on this earth
and we don’t leave it until we fulfill it.

What would you say is your reason for being on this earth?

I believe everybody has a purpose on this earth and we don’t leave it until we fulfill it.

Do you believe in God, Jesus, heaven?

Definitely, yes.

Would God approve of how you are? your plans? your activities? your dress?

God doesn’t judge, people do. He loves me just the way I am.

What is the way for unknowns to make it in today’s culture, for young unknowns wanting to “make it” in entertainment?

Be unique, be yourself and do not compromise yourself … your time will eventually come.
