Milligram Descends Into Madness In “Where You Been”

Ohio-based rapper Milligram returns today with his new single with accompanied video, “Where You Been”.

Director Sahil Datta, takes the viewer through Milligram’s descent into madness in a Shutter Island inspired music video. In “Where You Been”, producer and long time collaborator D1 teams up with Milligram to create a dark and cryptic undertone juxtaposed with an upbeat vibe, resulting in an eeriness that is further reflected in the music video. Milligram’s smooth flow combined with intricate bars and sing-song hook create an earworm effect that will get the track stuck in your head, much like Milligram is stuck in the mental institution throughout the video.

Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Milligram is one of biggest hip-hop acts rising out of the Midwest. Milligram’s work can be described as lyrically honest paired with first-class storytelling abilities and catchy hooks. His efforts have not gone unnoticed after the release of his last single “Hell of a Life” featuring Bubba Sparxxx, which has been warmly received by fans accumulating over 18k views via YouTube.

Milligram’s previous projects, The Death & Life of Milligram and Moonrise, challenged his writing abilities and have helped to shape him into the rapper he is today. After having the opportunity to tour with artists Scarface and Haystak, and after flying under the radar for some time, Milligram is ready to make his return and prove through his talent exactly why he belongs in the industry.
