Mozzy kicks off tour in Los Angeles at the El Rey Theater with $tupid Young, Joe Moses and More

Mozzy Kicks off “INTERNAL AFFAIRS” Tour in Los Angeles at The El Rey Theater with All Black, $tupid Young, Lil Poppa and more. The El Rey Theater lit up for Mozzy’s opening night of “INTERNAL AFFAIRS” Tour, other special guest performances included Azjah, Saviii 3rd and Joe Moses who brought out TY Dolla $ign. Mozzy performed songs from his early released mixtape Internal Affairs [Mozzy Records/EMPIRE]. Mozzy also took the time during his performance to remember slain rapper Nipsey Hussle.

After months of touring (including supporting dates with YG) and cookin’ up in the studio, Mozzy kicks off summer with the early release of his anticipated mixtape Internal Affairs [Mozzy Records/EMPIRE] as well as a reflective video for “Pot To Piss” featuring Florida rapper Teejay3k. “Pot To Piss” is the third visual from the project, following Shine’n For Diamond and Winning featuring Lil Poppa. Mozzy’s lyricism reigns supreme as he narrates the strife caused when there’s turmoil within your circle. Additional features from Sage the Gemini, Don Q, Sada Baby, Celly Ru and E Mozzy round out the mixtape. Stream Internal Affairs, and watch the “Pot To Piss” video, available now everywhere.

Mozzy makes music about his life growing up on the streets of Sacramento’s challenging Oak Park neighborhood. Mozzy’s father was a felon and his mother was absent; he was raised by aunts and his grandmother, a member of the Black Panther Party. Mozzy first acquired national attention in 2015, when he released a series of full-lengths including Yellow Tape Activities and Bladadah. Mozzy’s recent features include “Seasons” (with Sjava and Reason) on the Grammy-winning Black Panther movie soundtrack and “Too Brazy”on YG’s Stay Dangerous album. He released his latest solo album Gangland Landlord in 2018 to critical acclaim.
