TV One’s ‘In Broad Daylight’ Stars Chyna Layne and Curtis Hamilton Discuss Their Roles

TV One’s original film IN BROAD DAYLIGHT premieres on Sunday, July 14 at 8 p.m. ET/7C, followed by an encore presentation at 10 p.m.  The film is the second installment of the network’s chilling slate of LOVE, LIES AND MURDER movies inspired by true crimes and airing every Sunday night in July.

IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, starring and executive produced by Shad “Bow Wow” Moss (Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta), Chyna Layne (She’s Gotta Have It – Series) and Curtis Hamilton (Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le), tells the story of Jordan Boudreaux (Layne), who gets abducted by her obsessed and estranged boyfriend Steve (Hamilton). Jordan’s family rallies the community while her closest cousin, Malik (Moss), makes it his personal mission to find and bring her home safely. The family, community and police band together to find Jordan before it’s too late.

ABOUT THE CAST

After landing numerous roles on TV shows such as “Moesha” and “The Steve Harvey Show,” Shad “Bow Wow” Moss made his big-screen acting debut in 2002’s “All About The Benjamins,” followed by a starring role in “Like Mike.” Moss continues to make his mark in Tinsletown and in the hip-hop industry as an award-winning artist. Born to a Jamaican father and Filipina mother, Chyna Layne breaks all of the rules and pursues acting strictly for the love and art. The Hollywood starlet has appeared in over 30 independent films, two national commercials and made her HBO debut in the made-for-television movie, “Life Support,” directed by George Nelson and executive produced by Jamie Foxx and Queen LatifahCurtis Hamilton, a former wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints,  got his start in Hollywood when he was discovered by a modeling scout. A few years later, Curtis has starred in Lifetime’s “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le” and continues to make his mark in Hollywood with roles on popular television series including “Castle” and “Rizzoli & Isles.”
