Wyze Music & Thug World South – In The South!

That old school UGK sound is back courtesy of the late great, Pimp C’s son, Yung Pimp, Q Bosilini, Ale and Whitey Pines.

“In The South.” Performed by the late great, Pimp C’s son, Yung Pimp, Q Bosilini, Ale and Whitey Pines truly embodies that old school southern sound. The quartet takes you into a day in the life being from the south. The production is definitely 1990’s UGK revived. The chorus raps, “You can tell by how I walk that I’m from the south, and you can tell by how I talk that I’m from the south.” Q Bosilini’s sound deeply resembles, Pimp C’s, so it seemed only right to combine his vocals with the son of the Texas/southern rap legend. The resemblance is there for, Yung Pimp. Some of his father’s features jump out at you. In March of last year, Q Bosilini, a protégé of the legend, Spice 1, released his debut album titled, “The Beautiful Struggle.” He also has hit singles, “Day by Day,” “Dirt,” Playaz Get Chose,” and “Trippin.” To his credit, Q, has features with hip-hop icons, Layzie Bone, Spice 1, Paul Wall, Khujo from Goodie Mob, Pastor Troy and Young Bleed. As well as records with up and coming hard hitters, Big Shark and Frost 4eva. Yung Pimp released UGKidz, “Lowercase G’s” in 2015 and followed that up with a 2018 album, Yung Pimp & Trilla Tra, “A Way Out 1.” Yung Pimp is definitely keeping the legacy alive through his music. Whitey Pines first dropped in 2003 with, “Whitey Pines, Vol. 1.” He released a single last month called, “South Side Thang.” “In The South,” is a certified street record with that southern comfort sound.

“In The South” is available on all digital platforms now!
