Zoya recruits Jack Harlow for sweet-sounding track ‘Bad Girls Dream’

Multi-talented, Indian-American pop persona Zoya has linked with 21-year-old Atlantic Records rapper Jack Harlow on fresh new single ‘Bad Girls Dream’, out Wednesday July 17th.

Engulfed by Zoya’s shining, sweet vocals and lyrics detailing a rebellious love story, ‘Bad Girls Dream’ is an emotionally-rich track that reveals the artist’s burning desires. The track is met with an apathetic flow from rapper Jack Harlow emphasizing his detachment from the relationship which brings the story to life. With gentle guitar riffs and beating drums, ‘Bad Girls Dream’ proves to be a rousing showcase of the artists’ conception.

Zoya explains, “There’s always been this fight between the girl I used to be, the girl I am, and the girl I want to become. Bad Girls Dream is the version of myself I’ve been most of my life. Whether it was the color of my skin or the big dreams I had – I always felt different. In my youth, that feeling turned into a desire to escape, to break as many rules as possible and to hang out with the bad boys so they could teach me what bad boys do. Like a little rebel with big dreams, she’s important to my story. She lived a bold life and died trying to so, it’s important the world knows her first.”

Indian-American singer, songwriter, guitarist and entrepreneur Zoya first exploded on the scene supporting music heavyweights AR Rahman and The Chainsmokers throughout India and gracing festival stages with the likes of Madame Gandhi, Youngr, Submotion Orchestra, Bloc Party, Clean Bandit, and Martin Garrix. With three albums to her name and countless tours worldwide, Zoya is ready for the next big step in her career.

Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, up-and-coming rapper Jack Harlow is making his reign as one of the most sought after acts in the rap game. Currently signed to Generation Now under Atlantic Records, Jack is mostly known for his first major label mixtape ‘Loose’. He is also the co-founder of his own independent record label and music collective, Private Garden.

Marking the first collaboration between Zoya and Jack Harlow, ‘Bad Girls Dream’ illustrates the unity of both artists’ vision.
