Designer & Influencer Justina Blakeney On Her Books, Jungalow, Working With Velux & More

A new global survey by YouGov reports that about 70 percent of Americans believe in nature, daylight and fresh air’s positive effects on stress levels and mental well-being. But the Environmental Protection Agency reports that people still spend on average up to 90 percent of their time indoors. So when a walk in the woods, a lunch break in the park or a night under the stars isn’t an option, how should busy Americans most effectively access nature’s health benefits?
Designer Justina Blakeney of The Jungalow has some suggestions to bring the outdoors in. An award-winning designer and blogger (and best-selling author), Blakeney offers audiences nature-inspired style tips that will make breathing through the stress of the workday far easier.
Blakeney’s design blog and online shop The Jungalow have quickly become the go-to sources for bohemian design inspiration. As one of the leading design personalities on the web, Blakeney has over two million followers online and has been named a top designer to follow on Instagram by Harper’s Bazaar, New York Magazine and Lonny Magazine. Her eponymous label Justina Blakeney Home includes a wide range of lifestyle and home products including furniture, rugs, wallpaper, and bedding.
