Dubai’s Own sobhhï Tackles Long Distance Love In New Single “imagine that”

Dubai-based R&B artist sobhhï has released a new single “imagine that“. The record revolves around the achingly difficult subject of long distance relationships, a common theme of sobhhï’s music.

“Traveling frequently makes it difficult to have the same kind of relationships with people that you would if you were neighbors. This is bedroom soul about my favorite topic, distance. And it reads like a letter; it’s part of a larger dialogue.”

“imagine that” is the 2nd single that sobhhï has released in 2 weeks, following up another distance-challenged love song “revenue / places”. These past 2 releases sit firmly in the bedroom pop lane, with an underlying R&B influence, a departure from the more hip-hop-oriented “2019 freestyle” single/video that he dropped in June. sobhhï produced “imagine that” and also mixed and mastered the record, a sign of his innate musical talent.
