Holly ft. Gunplay & OKAY – On Me

Portuguese bass/hip-hop producer Holly has today released a new single: On Me. The song features a couple vintage verses and catchy hook from Gunplay and additional production for ATL-based producer OKAY! KENJI (previously known as Young Sidechain).Gunplay’s raw vocals are well suited from the grimy, trap-oriented production. Holly has been a fan of the MMG rapper’s work for a while and it was only right that he tapped him for one of his most boisterous tracks to date. Holly had some words to share about collaborating with Gunplay on On Me.

“Gunplay has been one of my favorite rappers since I first heard “Ghetto Symphony” in 2013. It’s crazy how I used to listen to his music before I even began making music on my own, and now we’re on the same record together. I can’t thank OKAY! KENJI enough for helping bring this track to life as well.”

Holly released another single with A$AP TyY in June – Till I Die – another boisterous track that fuses bass-oriented electronic music with hip-hop. Holly has proven to be one of the most capable producers merging the two genres. Both On Me and Till I Die will be featured on Holly’s forthcoming EP on Insomniac Records “Alameda 1000“, dropping on September 13th.
