Synth Duo ROOM8 are Back With New Track ‘Only You’ ft. The Sound of Arrows

Based between LA and Stockholm, production duo ROOM8 are back with their latest single ‘Only You’ from their upcoming album Transduction ( out October 11th 2019).

The track interprets the feeling of being uneasy with people out in the world and taking refuge in someone that you trust. With early 80s beats and vintage synthesizers, it’s a dark love song that brims with the vibe of a timeless pop classic.

Talking about their new single, the pair tell us “Only You is a song for everyone who has ever felt out of step with society. At its heart, it’s a love song to the one person who understands us best when we feel lost or misunderstood. In a way it’s kind of the sequel to our 2017 song “Just You & I” which also featured our friend, The Sound of Arrows, vocals”.

Fresh off the back from producing the score to upcoming 2019 film Cuck, the cinematic nature of their work shines through, creating an album of eclectic, progressive electronica. They have previously collaborated with the likes of Little Boots, Morgxn and Electric Youth (who worked on the Drive soundtrack).
