0Iconic rock band Breaking Benjamin brought the house down in Dallas Tuesday night, with supporting acts Diamante, Dorothy, Three Days Grace, and Chevelle.
The Pennsylvania natives headlined the show at Dos Equis Pavilion in front of tens of thousands I’d die-hard fans who sang along to every song. At one point, lead singer Benjamin Burnley stops during the song “Angels Fall” to soak in the crowd and even began to shed some tears. He then takes the mic and tells Dallas that they are “ hands down, the best f**king crowd on the entire tour” before finishing the last line of the hit song and receiving an ovation.
Breaking Benjamin originally founded in 1998 but did not play heavy rock like they do now. In 2010, the band split up and went on a 4 year hiatus when 2 of the band members (Aaron Fink and Mark Klepaski) granted Hollywood Records request to use a remastered version of their song “Blow Me Away” without Burnley’s permission, prompting him to fire via email and take them to court to pay $250,000 in punitive fees and damages.
In 2014, the band announced their reformation with new members and had been going strong since, releasing hits such as “Failure” and “Never Again.” The tour comes to a stop on September 29 in Louisville, KY
