Lunchbox Made Hits for Sheck Wes – Now He Releases His Debut Project

Both producer and rapper, Lunchbox possesses multiple talents in the studio and he proves it with his debut project. He raps over his own dark beats about his past and the hard times in East Harlem. That might be why songs like “Can’t Lack” and “Bruce Wayne” carry a heavy bass that sounds straight out of a horror movie. All 12 records on his debut rap project are produced by himself, along with production from renowned producers, 16yrold, AR, Cream Wallo & Redda.

Lunchbox sees his beats as movies, drawing from what he had to battle growing up and giving an inside look to his world. His unbreakable work ethic isn’t the only thing that sets himself apart from his competition. He also refuses to follow any trends, combining both artistic stamina and a creative drive that pushes him to the top.

Lunchbox first got his start cooking beats as a teenager, back in 2016 in New York. He quickly linked with Sheck Wes through Facebook, sending him a beat. This beat soon turned into “Live SheckWes, Die SheckWes”, which amassed millions of streams and became a go-to song for DJs to get the crowd pumped. Lunchbox went on to help produce the majority of Sheck Wes’s debut album, “Mudboy”. He also co-produced Sheck Wes and DJ Snake’s “Enzo” which became another turn-up anthem. It’s no surprise that A Dark Night In Gotham follows the same trend of the hardships of life in Harlem, and a darkness Lunchbox knows too well.
