Reuben George Brings Back Summer With New Single

Trombonist Reuben George, who originally hails from Rye in Kent, was not destined to become a pop star. Having originally pursued more traditional family routes, as a brass player in jazz and classical circles, he soon realised his true musical love was reggae. However, lack of opportunity in his home county led him to change his plans. The singer decided to switch it up, picked up a guitar, and started writing.

This course of action led to the creation of his new single: ‘Let’s Run Away (To Mexico)’, a track which comes in a more conventional pop format, and reaches out to a wider audience of music lovers everywhere as an ideal soundtrack to keep hold of summer in the colder months. He’s not forgotten his roots though – of course a brass section is still involved.
