‘Spirit Music’ by Toyotomi Out Now!

After an exclusive premiere with Pilerats for their latest single ‘Running’, Perth based collective ‘Four AM’ members Toyotomi and JCAL quickly follow with the release of their EP ‘Spirit Music’ available now!

Leading the way of the New Wave and making their imprint, the duo offers an extended play that will leave long-time listeners and new listeners satisfied. It’s a long time coming as the collective consistently build a strong local presence in their home city of Perth and now endeavor to reach and build a fanbase abroad.

Drawing from inspirations of Yung Lean and Future, Toyotomi asserts his presence on JCal’s complimentary production, most notably displayed on focus single ‘The Forrest Spirit’, where he pours out his frustrations whilst keeping composed and aware that the best is yet to come for him and his team.

It’s important for me to convey multiple messages in my music but some that remain consistent are: Everything is relative, find balance, enjoy your time. – Toyotomi

Toyotomi is no stranger to stepping outside of the box and experimenting with his sound which has landed him some impressive accolades, having played at Falls Festival and Origin Fields as well as supporting internet sensation Riff Raff and being included in Vice AU’s Artist’ to watch. Whilst JCal offers a colorful, modern landscape whilst sticking to his signature sound. A sound of which that has landed him in high places, like the opportunity to be involved in a Kehlani session and working with the likes of Ziggy Ramo and Tuka (Thundamentals).
