West Coast Rap Trio Warm Brew Release Fresh New Single ‘Fame’

With no signs of slowing down, California rap group Warm Brew release their newest smooth single ‘Fame’, out now via Red Bull Records.

Budding with West-Coast hip-hop beats, ‘Fame’ is a dynamic, full-of-life track with relatable lyrics and a head-bobbing melody. With the trio coming together seamlessly, each artist’s voice warrants its own place on the track and proves that they work best as a whole. Taking a nod from the style of Los Angeles based old-school rap, Warm Brew has solidified their position in the modern day hip hop scene in LA and beyond.

Made up of members Ray Wright, Manu Li and Serk, Warm Brew’s bond goes all the way back to their premature years at Santa Monica High School. The glue between their friendship has always been their love for music. “Music was the evolution of our friendship,” says Ray, with the trio now celebrating over a decade of music production together. With influences coming from the booming California hip-hop scene, Warm Brew’s sound is a fusion of classic rap and their own, diverse and eclectic grooves.

Capturing the attention of Los Angeles rap native Dom Kennedy with their track ‘Wanna Get High’, the group’s contemporary, the group’s G-funk inspired sound continues to amass a huge fan-base all over the world. With the slick verses of popular single ‘Player Way’ featuring Wiz Khalifa and the sumptuous Cali tones found in their newest album New Content, Warm Brew prove with each and every release that they are on the cusp of hip hop excellence.

This Saturday, September 28, the trio will be performing at the Red Bull 3X basketball tournament at the Venice Beach Courts. In the cultural mecca that is Venice Beach, Warm Brew is slated to play at 5:30pm following the main event, a dunk show featuring J Clark The Jumper and Dunkademics. Free and open to the public, don’t miss a rare homecoming performance by Warm Brew on the home territory they grew up on.
