The six-time GRAMMY Award-nominee looks to again provide a multi-stage music festival in his hometown of Houston curated by Scott himself. While the full music lineup is yet to be revealed, Travis is confirmed as the festival’s headlining performer.

The second annual ASTROWORLD Festival will take place across the street from the former home of AstroWorld, an amusement park opened in downtown Houston in 1968. AstroWorld was originally built to complement the nearby Astrodome, the world’s first multi-purpose domed sports arena, referred to by many as the “eighth wonder of the world.” The festival seeks to again bring back the nostalgia of AstroWorld for Houston residents and travelers alike.

ASTROWORLD Festival is returning to Houston just off the heels of Scott’s highly successful and critically acclaimed Wish You Were Here North American tour earlier this spring that included 50+ sold-out shows across the country, in addition to headlining some of Europe’s largest music festivals earlier this summer. This year’s ASTROWORLD Festival will mark Scott’s only North American performance currently announced for the second half of 2019.

Scott most recently released a new 85-minute Netflix documentary entitled “Look Mom I Can Fly”, which includes footage from the inaugural festival event last November. The film documents a two-year span in which Scott crafted and released his Grammy-nominated album “Astroworld”, traveled the globe on two headlining tours, performed at the NFL Super Bowl and the 2019 Grammy Awards, all while becoming a bonafide global superstar.

GA (starting at $89) and VIP (starting at $250) passes are available for purchase now at Fans are encouraged to purchase their passes now as last year’s event sold out in advance, and ticket prices will continue to rise as the festival approaches.

ASTROWORLD Festival will also offer several premium VIP packages for those looking to elevate their experience onsite. The “Stargazing” VIP package includes expedited festival entry through a VIP-only entrance, a premium VIP viewing area, a commemorative laminate, and access to the dedicated VIP bar and restrooms. The “No Bystanders” VIP package will include all previously listed on-site amenities, in addition to a premium viewing deck, official festival merch pack, as well as a private bar, lounge and air-conditioned bathrooms – all of which are exclusive to the No Bystanders VIP guests. Those interested in VIP access are encouraged to act quickly and buy now as passes are in short supply with limited availability.

A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the official ASTROWORLD Festival charity partner, Workshop Houston. Workshop Houston creates transformative educational opportunities through hands-on, project-based learning – including lessons in music production and recording, robotics and computer programming, fashion and graphic design, as well as tutoring and academic support. Please visit to learn more about this organization’s ongoing projects and initiatives to educate and support the youth of Houston.
