BlumBros Reunite With MAKJ For Sleek New Track ‘Move’

Rising north Philly hip-hop duo BlumBros have reunited with DJ and producer MAKJ for Move, the 4th release off their forthcoming Thank Da Jects EP, out November 1st. With predecessors ranging from catchy lines in LS6, refreshing sass in Love Me to funky instrumentals in Ur Wifey, Move marks another masterpiece by this unpredictable trio of music enthusiasts who are also releasing a lyrical music video for this track.

Kicking off with flute sounds that remain consistent throughout the track, Move takes a cooler approach to BlumBros’ usual amped up sound. Delivering their lines over MAKJ’s sleek production which consists of a softer pounding of the beat – introduced right after his speeding race car signature, Move displays yet another side to the brotherly duo’s versatile sound.

Hailing from the Blumberg projects in North Philadelphia, the brotherly duo’s upbringing saw them, and their siblings move to separate foster care homes, with Raphy and Carty reuniting over a decade later as teenagers. After bonding over their love for music, the brothers’ creative flow soon landed them a record deal with Payday Records.

Uniting with California born race car driver turned DJ and producer, MAKJ whose growing list of hits such as Let’s Get Fucked Up with Lil Jon and Party Till We Die with Timmy Trumpet showcases his ability to seamlessly collide the worlds of dance and rap, making him the perfect collaboration partner for the bros. It’s no wonder that his impressive roster of support includes Afrojack, Chuckie, Avicii, Nicky Romero, David Guetta and more.

BlumBros X MAKJ – Move is out now via Payday Records.
