COMING TO THEATRES SOON

Kicking off a powerhouse partnership, Cash Money Films and NCREDIBLE announce the upcoming film, She Ball, coming to theatres in February 2020.

Representing a union between Nick Cannon who wrote, produced, and directed She Ball. Multi-Platinum icons Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams & Chris Brown also produced and all three are starring alongside some of the most influential entertainers today including Cedric The Entertainer, DC Young Fly, Evan Rose, and Faizon Lovein the movie.

This film is an important community focused project dealing with Race, Gentrification, Criminal Justice and Women Empowerment. The movie tells a story of triumph against all odds as a young female athlete played by Melody Rae Kandil faces trials, tribulations, and triumph on and off the basketball court.

Nick Cannon, explains, “She Ball, is about community, and the inclusive nature of controlling your own background. It’s a story that doesn’t have any boundaries. It’s a sports movie, it’s a love story, and it’s a comedy. I grew up on movies like Above The Rim, Love & Basketball, and even Save the Last Dance. It has a little bit of a combination of these three movies but with its own message. It’s an action-packed movie that’s full of laughs, but at the end of the day it’s really just a great story about human connections.

“Birdman and I have been talking about doing movies together for so long and it finally all came together on this project.” Chris Brown who is like family to me and such a visionary, is truly one of the most gifted and talented spirits to ever grace this planet!”

A second trailer follows on Thursday October 17, 2019, showcasing the lighter side and some of the humor to expect. Additionally, expect news on the official soundtrack, arriving on Cash Money Records/NCREDIBLE.

This marks the first release by Cash Money Films—the production company co-founded by legendary Cash Money Records Co-Founders Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams and Ronald ‘Slim’ Williams. It also kicks off a creative union between Birdman and Nick Cannon that will prove unparalleled in the film world. Building on their longstanding friendship, this also represents their inaugural collaboration together.
