Golf Clap & MASTERIA Cause a ‘Mystery Scene’
Detroit is continually moving to the forefront of house music, as Detroit-based producers Golf Clap and MASTERIA teamed up to deliver a booming house anthem titled “Mystery Scene”. This high-energy house single caught the attention of both deadmau5’s mau5trap imprint, as well as music powerhouse Insomniac Records.
The two artists wanted to combine the classic, catchy drum and percussion patterns Golf Clap is known for, with MASTERIA’s more experimental sound design and rhythms. The single actually came about while they were all on the way to play Electric Forest this past summer, which they described as quite a mystery scene of its own.
The song immediately grabs the listener’s ear with snappy drums and a groovy bassline. A catchy vocal builds the energy in the track while listeners are greeted with an array of slamming bass and layered kick patterns. This single has already gained massive support from key tastemakers throughout the dance music community, and has been played at festivals around the country.
With Golf Clap in the midst of their massive nation-wide Come Alive Tour, this single proves that they are truly a force to be reckoned with. Their fan base has expanded rapidly in recent months due to not only their recent music outstanding live performances, but also with the help of their rapidly growing Country Club Disco imprint.
This release also helps solidify MASTERIA’s position as one of the fastest-rising producers in the house music scene. Coming off of recent back-to-back Beatport chart-topping releases on Tchami’s Confession label, he continues to create a name for himself with his unique sound design and catchy basslines.
