Chart-topping rapper, Juice WRLD recently returned to his roots and partnered with McDonald’s for Beat of My City, the inaugural give-back live music experience that celebrates artists and their hometowns. Following up to their NYC stop featuring Teyana Taylor, Juice WRLD wowed the crowd with a high-energy performance of hits including “Lucid Dreams.”
In this pilot initiative that centers around the convergence of music, culture, and community, McDonald’s and Juice WRLD together provided resources to help the 100 Black Men of Chicago, Inc., an organization hand-picked by the young artist himself, continue its mission of providing positive role models for young African-American males.
Through a partnership with Genius, more than $70,000 has been raised to benefit the communities Beat of My City artists call home. Additionally, fans can visit Genius.com to check out the In Real Life series on Juice WRLD and Teyana Taylor to learn even more about them and their cities.
