Kat Timpf On FOX Nation’s “Patriot Awards,” The Misfits, Working With Tyrus & More

Last month, FOX Nation — the on-demand subscription-based streaming service — announced that it will host its first ever Patriot Awards at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 at 7PM EST. The headline-making show will be streamed live on FOX Nation with a later air-date to follow on broadcast television via the FOX News Channel.

This one-of-a-kind event will showcase and award American’s finest patriots, including military veterans, first responders, and other inspirational everyday heroes. FOX Nation’s top personalities will make appearances and serve as presenters at the awards show, including: FOX & Friends co-hosts Brian Kilmeade, Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt, travel and lifestyle host Abby Hornacek, Front Row Seat‘s Ed Henry, FOX & Friends Weekend co-host Pete Hegseth, The Quiz Show’s Tom Shillue, Man On The Street’s Lawrence Jones, Reality Check’s David Webb, Sincerely Kat’s Kat Timpf, Get Tammy Bruce’s Tammy Bruce and The Russia Hoax’s Gregg Jarrett. Additionally, legendary country music singer-songwriter John Rich will perform some of his biggest hits as part of the Patriot Awards.

The aforementioned Katherine “Kat” Timpf is a Michigan native who graduated magna cum laude from Hillsdale College. Timpf joined the FOX News Channel as a contributor in 2015. Since June 2019, she has served as the host of Sincerely Kat on FOX Nation, and also co-hosts FOX News Radio’s weekly show Tyrus & Timpf. Beyond her work with Fox, Timpf contributes to the National Review Online, works as a podcaster, and performs stand-up comedy at venues throughout the United States.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Kat Timpf by phone on October 22, 2019 about the Patriot Awards and plenty more, including Jerry Only and The Misfits, whether there are other punk fans on-staff at FOX, what’s coming up for her, and why she especially appreciates her co-host Tyrus.
