Boston Producer Rilla Force Coins His Signature Sound With New Single “Amen”

If you’re looking for another reason to say “Amen” today, you have to listen to Rilla Force‘s new single “Amen” off of his recently released debut concept album “Fiesta”. The smooth, upbeat production paired with soulful vocals start the song off with a danceable vibe. It’s highs and lows float seamlessly into one another as if you’re dancing inside a dream. The transitions truly are unique; it’s no wonder this Boston-based producer has coined a signature sound all his own. It’s called: RNBDM which stands for a blend of future bass infused with Electronic, Hip Hop, and RnB. The futuristic tones and impassioned lyrical delivery provide the perfect blend of newness and familiarity. “I just can’t help feeling, everything is right. I can’t help but think that it’ll be alright” – Rilla’s positivity does not go unnoticed as he sonically manifests good outcomes and great energy. Musically, “Amen” flawlessly demonstrates the mental push and pull we go through when crawling out of dark places and back into the light.

The dips and drops weave listeners back and forth between minimal grooves and dynamic dance breaks. Subtle piano chords create intimate soundscapes beneath synths; the track blends instruments in a non genre-specific structure, appealing to both passive and engaged listeners. Sit back and relax or dance the night away; “Amen” has a little something for everyone. Rilla Force’s career is on a fast track to wide-range success. At this years Boston Music Awards, he was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Artist of the Year. He’s also received radio play with BBC’s Radio One and has received many praise from streaming services like Spotify, receiving 70K+ monthly listeners cross-platform. “I like really powerful and energetic music, stuff that makes people get up and dance …or at least, bob their heads really hard,” laughs Rilla. “And those are kind of the core elements of RNBDM, to be able to move people with chord progressions and a little bit of theory, and get them to dance.”  To listen to “Amen” on his debut concept album “Fiesta” visit his Spotify and follow him on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
