Electro-pop artist KSENIA takes a stand in new EP Fire with Fire – out 02-20-20

Sometimes you have to stand up for yourself and take charge. Russian-born singer-songwriter Ksenia (Ka-SIN-ee-uh) learned to take back her power and shares her lessons learned through her 7-track EP, Fire with Fire. The singer combines electro-pop, R&B and traditional Russian folk melody to create seven original songs that tell stories about self-empowerment and taking responsibility for your own happiness. Ksenia co-wrote the songs on her new EP with LA songwriter/producer Mario Marchetti, who produced songs for Jojo and Demi Lovato. She also co-wrote one of the songs with Trevor Holmes, a semi-finalist on American idol in 2018. Her Fire with Fire EP comes out in February 2020.

Born in the small Russian town of Nakhodka, Ksenia was singing and playing piano since the age of 6. After winning talent contests and attending college on a full scholarship, Ksenia moved to the US in 2010. Upon arriving in LA, Ksenia met music producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mario Marchetti while walking down the street, looking for the nearest hotel. The singer would eventually work with Marchetti and together they would create some of her biggest pop songs.

Fame Magazine lauds Ksenia’s “storytelling abilities” and “versatility as an artist.” Buzz Music raves, “She pairs her emotive lyricism over contemporary tracks and empowers women all over the world.” Puretone describes the artist as having “a strong vocal range throughout that exemplifies Ksenia’s virtuosity as an artist.”
