Gorran Wants Us To Smell The ‘Roses’ In New Single

Gorran makes a powerful environmental message in latest single ‘Roses’. Inspired by his own little sister and the environmental activist phenomenon Greta Thunberg, Gorran hopes his music will remind listeners to think twice and make a change. ‘Roses’ bursts with fast-paced synths, passionate vocals and vibrant melodies, delivering a dynamic and authoritative release.

The musician expresses, “Young women such as Thunberg are paving the way for a whole generation of people to make positive changes in our society and so it’s time we listen to them and take them seriously. I think having a little sister myself, who at the time of the writing of the song was only 12 years old, made the subject matter even more poignant for me”.

Gorran’s distinct sound is a stunning amalgamation of dance, pop, R&B and hip-hop. This hybrid of genres, along with impressive vocals and strong underlying themes has been capturing the attention of fans and critics alike. The BRIT School graduate has had the pleasure of supporting KT Tunstall on her UK tour, as well as performing at the London Roundhouse, one of London’s most prestigious venues. Keep your eyes peeled, as Gorran is fast becoming an artist on the rise.
