“Boricua” is a bilignual (a mix of Spanish and English lyrics) track that is a fun and sultry bop. The entire song screams of Puerto Rican pride. The very term, “Boricua” is a colloquial name for a person of Puerto Rican heritage. It is very evident that Gracie Laboy is proud of her roots, and she isn’t afraid to show it.
