Pascal Archimede is the author of a book entitled “Black American History, From Plantations To Rap Culture“. This book,  which has also been published in French, explores Black Americans’ history through the various types of music that they created, from work songs on plantations to rap music today.

The Hype Magazine caught up with Pascal to discuss the book and its meaning as well as his hopes for the evolution of modern rap and its messages! Tune In!!
