Rapper ATO Taps Vic Mensa For New Drop “falling”

Amongst the deafening noise of popular culture, there are true gems to be found from artists who are not afraid to push the needle. One such artist is ATO, a rapper hailing from Leeds, UK.

Having done so and impressing in the process with his previous joints “24” and “space to”, he finally unveils the culmination of his recent efforts ‘EP3’. With 8 full tracks to sink your teeth into, he also treats with the release of his newest single “falling” featuring the enigmatic Vic Mensa.

Synth heavy, bass heavy, lyrically pensive and with its fair share of menacing overtones, “falling” should find its way onto many Hip-Hop playlists. Through sound and through speech, ATO comfortably takes the listener on a vivid sonic journey. Not to mention the Vic Mensa’s guest appearance – his subtle flex a welcomed bonus though he does not feature in the video.

“falling” comes right in line with the release of ATO’s brand new project ‘EP3’, his first full length project since 2017’s ‘Man of The House’.

Speaking on the new EP, ATO shared: “What naturally happened in the process of making the EP is that the moments of isolation and vulnerability became framed by moments that speak to the harder, fast paced reality of inner-city life and vice versa. As difficult as it is to articulate fully, I suppose through the EP I’ve tried to give a balanced reflection of who I am and not just one aspect of who I am.”
