Buju Banton Releases Video For “Trust”

Following the massive announcement made just a few weeks ago that Buju Banton has partnered to release new music via Roc Nation/Island Records, the legendary reggae artist and cultural icon continues to ignite fans with yet another piece of amazing new content. “Trust,”produced by longtime friend and collaborator Dave Kelly and released recently on November 15, was the dancehall smash that had fans worldwide rejoicing. Banton does not disappoint following up today with the accompanying Kieran Khan-directed sizzling visual. The video features choreography by the famed Tanisha Scott. The broadcast premier is on BET Jams.

The “Trust” visual follows the release of his “Steppa” music video out recently on November 22. RollingStone described “Steppa” as a “roaring reggae cut.” With Buju Banton simply telling the magazine, ““Wasn’t that always my role, to bring some civility and some consciousness to human existence, to the music? I’ve not changed.”

Banton has dropped a notable amount of new content in a short window signaling to fans that the upcoming decade will start with new music from the legendary singer.
