Esmé’s ‘Come with me’ is the Soundtrack to Your Winter!

Dim the lights, get warm and comfortable and let yourself be seduced by Esmé’s sensual new release Come with me. Combining jazz, soul, electronic and soul, the track produced by Amillian is a spellbinding experience leaving you craving for more. And more is to come for sure as the Australian artist is putting the finishing touches to her debut EP scheduled for next year!

With the exception of this new song – which is actually a rework of her debut single released in 2017, the project has been recorded last year in Brooklyn in very good company… Known for his soulful compositions for NAO & Jamie Woon, the reknown producer Royce Wood Junior took part to the EP, as well as Chris Penning and Twilite Tone (Kanye West, Gorillaz), which makes for an interesting and versatile team, to say the least. All of them helped inspire Esmé’s new sound, building on her jazzy influences to propose a fresh take on music just as demonstrated in this new version of Come with me. “After Brooklyn, it made sense to bring Come with Me into the family of new intimate electro sounds and heavier beats, she explains. Using the same vocal track, I worked with Amillian who got the vibe of it straight away, encasing the vocal track with the beautiful synth strings, swirling electric sounds, those heavy Billie Eilish type of beats and echoing vocals. Hearing it felt like swimming in a pastel coloured dream.”

Enjoy her beautiful visuals after the jump and don’t forget to add the song to your winter playlists!
