Following a stand-out college football career with the University Of Maryland, Nolan Carroll was drafted by the Miami Dolphins as part of the 2010 NFL Draft. the 2010 NFL Draft. Carroll played with the Dolphins through 2013 before moving along to runs with the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. He may have officially retired from the NFL last year, but Carroll has by no means slowed down on the professional end, keeping very active these days as an entrepreneur.

Nolan Carroll is one of the founders of the quickly-growing YooTroo app. YooTroo — co-founded with fellow entrepreneur Jean Paul — helps consumers find the nearest and best local deals. Thanks to YouTroo, the local business owner can stop using environmentally-impacting flyers and pamphlets and instead create buzz through an app. The consumer not only benefits from special deals, but in also getting paid to browse through the featured local advertising listings. In turn, everyone wins when YouTroo is used, including the business-owners, consumers and the app-owners.
