Sighting: Rick Fox Streams for 24 Hours at HyperX Esports Arena in Las Vegas

On Thursday, December 5, former NBA basketball player, actor, and esports businessman Rick Fox got in the game at HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas to complete a 24-hour charity livestream to benefit the Bahamas Relief Foundation. Beginning on Wednesday, Fox pledged to stream for 24 straight hours in the arena’s streaming booth during the popular League of Legends All-Star tournament by developer Riot Games. He was joined by popular content creators and gamers including Travis Gifford, Hammoudi “Yassuo” Abdalrhman, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and more.

Streaming live on Twitch, Fox participated in many challenges during the 24 hours to draw attention to the campaign, including coloring his hair and dressing in a Santa Claus suit. Through his efforts, Fox raised more than $50k for the fundraiser.
