Singer Vina Mills + Musiq Soulchild Goes a Little Country on “Lonely Road”

‘Lonely Road’ is the second 2019 release from alternative R&B/ Pop artist Vina Mills. Coming off the heels of her women empowerment track “Serena Williams“, Vina teams up with her good friend and Multi-Platinum-selling singer/songwriter, Musiq Soulchild for this duet.

The Akeem J. Wells produced track fuses elements of soul and country. With lyrics like “I kept you there, I bared the pain stood on my knees in prayer, Believed you’ll come home, like you promised you sweared and still you ran out and you cheated” is a common narrative, an often shared experienced by women who are blinded by love. “This is one of my most vulnerable and transparent tracks yet,” said Vina.
