Spotify Celebrates a Decade of Wrapped With Maggie Rogers, Sophia Bush and More

This week, Spotify hosted Spotify Wrapped: The Experience at Casita Hollywood in Los Angeles. The immersive experience brought to life Spotify’s Wrapped 2019 campaign which celebrates not only the artists, songs and podcasts that soundtracked listener’s lives in 2019, but also the decade.

The evening also featured GRAMMY Best New Artist nominee Maggie Rogers, treating guests to a live performance.

Celebrities also spotted at the event include Succession actor Nicholas Braun, actress Sophia Bush, Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski, actress Candice King, and Bachelor in Paradise alum Demi Burnett. Spotify transformed the space with photo moments all throughout with Casita, featuring LED infinity mirrors and a double-layered gold tinsel wall for custom slo-mo videos for guests.

Spotify’s Global Head of Communications Dustee Jenkins introduced Maggie Rogers, whose music also took Spotify by storm this year with her breakout track “Alaska” having been streamed around 100 million times on the platform. Rogers also performed “Say It,” “Light On” and her newest single “Love You For A Long Time,” which she revealed she was performing acoustically for the first time live.

The event also unveiled new Wrapped data for the first time. The top songs shared on Instagram Stories this year were: “Señorita” by Camila Cabello & Shawn Mendes, “bad guy” by Billie Eilish, “I Don’t Care” by Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber, “7 rings” by Ariana Grande, and “Lose You To Love Me” by Selena Gomez, all featured in a video for guests.

Guests were also able to take home their own personalized merch from the event, each hoodie customized with guests own Wrapped total minutes streamed for the year printed on-site.
