The Pom-Poms Featuring KITTY + RICKY EAT ACID Release New EP ‘I Was On The News’
Equal parts dance and decadence, THE POM-POMS return with their second official release today, entitled ‘I Was On The News’. Featuring seven songs, THE POM-POMS are here solely to fuel the excess and debauchery of your long nights of partying. Listen to the EP Below!
Formed as a rave/art duo, KITTY and RICKY EAT ACID joined forces as The Pom-Poms last year when they released a self-titled, self-released EP that quickly exploded through digital streaming and playlisting (such as Spotify’s “HYPERPOP” playlist). The Pom-Poms create pop-inspired dance music that pulses and builds into an explosion of sound – made for the rave, by the internet.
In October, Kitty announced the formation of Pretty Wavvy, an independent record label formed in cooperation with Regime Music Group. “I Was On The News,” the title track from this mini-album became the label’s first official release in November. The Pom-Poms will be touring in 2020 with tour plans to be announced in the near future.
