0Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Art, Beats and Lyrics Made a Splash in Miami Celebrating 15th Years and Supporting the National Museum of African American Music
Established in 2004, Art, Beats and Lyrics (AB+L) has grown from an annual Atlanta art and music showcase into a traveling exhibition. Celebrating 15 years, AB+L made its way back to a southern hip-hop hub, Miami, during its nation-wide tour – bringing fusions of urban art and music to create a one-of-a-kind cultural experience to everyone from the seasoned art collector to the social media enthusiast.
This year’s interactive experience featured new tech-centric installations and visual art exhibits from renowned artists such as Tim Okamura, Adeyemi Adegbesan and AB+L’s very own curator, Dubelyoo. Guests also enjoyed performances by the legendary hip-hop group, Little Brother as well as the winner of Netflix’s hit show, Rhythm and Flow, D Smoke. And the night would not have been complete without signature Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey cocktails.
Additionally, on behalf of the 15th anniversary of AB+L, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey announced its support of the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM), a global music destination providing a transformative, inspirational and educational experience across generations – including initiatives around hip hop music and culture. The alignment is an extension of its partnership with Cult Creative to support and celebrate the wider community of hip-hop and urban artistry. Through AB+L, Jack Honey will raise funds to support NMAAM’s grand opening in the summer of 2020.
The next stops on the tour include Atlanta in January; Chicago in February; and Louisville in May.
