Love & Hip-Hop: Miami star Sukihana shares “Pretty & Ratchet,“ a new anthem that defines her controversial and captivating self. A change of pace from the sexually frank slappers for which she is known, “Pretty & Ratchet” is triumphant and introspective, aimed at motivating women who think they can’t escape the hood: “Seventeen, had my first kid/Baby daddy did a lil bid/Used to get stamps and wick/Now look at me b*tch I’m the sh*t.” Produced by heavy hitters @BiggDFasho (Jay-Z, Chris Brown) and @daRealLamb (Missy Elliott, Beyonce), “Pretty & Ratchet” reaches its peak with its chorus, in which Suki celebrates her contradictions, and encourages others to do the same: “Too much to handle/Don’t let this pretty face fool you.”

“They doubted me because of where I came from,” says Sukihana. “Now look at me. I’m pretty and ratchet.”

“Pretty & Ratchet” follows up the in-your-face “All In Your Throat” video, which inspired the #AllInYourThroatChallenge, where she invites fans to “get creative” and film a video on social media for a chance to win $1000. With an introductory video that got over 3 million views on Twitter, the #AllInYourThroatChallenge has inspired thousands of social posts, and helped Sukihana grow her Instagram following by 13,000 in the past 7 days.

This year, Sukihana joins Trick Daddy, Trina, and others as a cast member in Season 3 of Love & Hip Hop: Miami. Follow Suki’s exploits every week as she attempts to navigate her meteoric rise. New episodes air every Monday at 9pm ET/PT on VH1, and are available to stream the following day on VH1. com.

A mother of three and a nonstop hustler, Sukihana first gained notoriety on social media, building up a following of 633,000 on Instagram (@SukihanaGoat) with explicit freestyles and and advice-giving vlogs.
